Good Morning Sunshine

I think Connor is nearly healthy again after a terrible cold, turned ear infection (even with tubes).
I was spoiled last night and got to go out to Highlands for Ben's 29th birthday. Wow we are getting old!
Cora is just her usual self. She can sit up for long periods of time if I set her there. She can army crawl any and everywhere. Her newest thing is propping herself up on her side (like a resting side plank). Just loungin'. Funny.

Look who came to visit

Cora and Aunt Mary

Super Bowl 2012

After the heartbreaking (Colin's heart maybe more than mine) loss to Tom Brady and Co., we realized Colin wouldn't be spending a mind-numbing amount of money traveling to Indy. So we decided to host a little super bowl party. Perfect since we didn't care about the outcome of the game and no one in Alabama cares about professional football. We included kids and I'm so glad we did. It was casual and fun. We had the square scores for the end of each quarter and pin the pink uggs on Tom Brady for the kids. Hilarious. Colin gets the credit for the pink uggs idea and my mom did such a great job on Tom. Unfortunately I used a video flip camera to take photos so the quality suffered.

Sweet as Honey

This week Connor decided to give Honey to Cora. Honey is my doll from when I was a baby. Connor loves Honey so much. He loves his baby sister too. Cora seems happy with Honey. This is how Connor and I found her this morning. Time to lower the crib. Cora is army crawling.

6 Months. 95/10

Cora's 6 month checkup was today. She is 27 inches long (95%) and 13 lbs 10 ounces (10%). A slender peanut. She is eating carrots, oatmeal, rice cereal and avocados (CORA). I know, so cool, right? She is a talker and a roller. She can sit up unassisted for a few minutes at a time and is nearly army crawling. Right now it is more super stretching and kicking feet but she is close.
