Trampoline Troll (monster)

Connor today at Wee Flip. I usually don't like trampolines but this one was small and only 1 kid at a time. Safeish.

Spring into Summer

It's spring but feels like summer. I love it. I would be happy with 2 weeks of fall, 2 weeks of winter, 2 weeks of spring and summer the rest of the year.

Even though we haven't been swimming yet - the pool is calling. Cora had a little dress-up fashion session. This is a sweet suit from Cora's godmother's parents. Reminds me of one of my favorite books The Great Gatsby.

Love the swim cap

I turned around to put away the swimsuit and when I looked back our not-yet 8 month old was doing this

And this

She may walk before she crawls. Although army crawling gets her everywhere she wants to be. Fast.

Zoo

We went to the Zoo with 5 million other people this morning. The Macaws are right at the entrance and were very loud today. Almost fighting and at least arguing. Connor said: "those birds are saying 'do you have a cracker? NO! Do you have a cracker? NO!'".

Spring Break I

Since it is spring break around here we are looking for activities to keep us busy. First stop Nina's house.

Love!

So sweet these kids get to see their great-grandmother so often. Cora is named after her great-great grandmothers.

Next Stop. After nap walks/rides.

Next stop Zoo!

Mothers Lunch

Connor's school hosted the sweetest Mother's Lunch for the 3K moms. We arrived at the classroom, knocked on the door, and each child greeted his mom with a bouquet of handmade flowers. Connor then escorted me to his seat. The kids served us a lunch, made by the kids, sang songs and played in a band to serenade the moms.

The placemat. (Cora talks to Connor's picture at breakfast).

Updating . . .

My Baltimore counterpart, Caitlin, is finally joining the world of blogging. To say I'm excited is an understatement. I've needed to update my blog list for awhile. Not because i dont love, love the listed blogs, but some of the blogs aren't active at all. So, I am adding Cait's new blog and a few others I read and removing a few that have been dormant for over a year. The last time I recall having a leg up on Caitlin in the fashion world is when we were in 3rd grade (maybe younger). We knew of each other. Our brothers were in the same grade too and attended preschool together. Anyway, we were at Buster Brown (shoe store) and Caitlin and her mom walked in. I can actually still picture us in the store (but can't recall any.thing from last week). I was buying slip-on keds with splatterpaint. Love the 80's!! Cait has super-narrow feet and slip-on keds didnt come in narrow. Lace-ups didnt come in splatterpaint. Caitlin was devestated. To top it off my mom (being truly nice) offered to have Caitlin and her lace-ups over to DIY splatterpaint. That didn't happen. But we both smile when we recall the story. As you will see, Cait has moved on from the Keds. Clothing Queen

And I get to see her so soon!!!

Wondering . . .

What is getting our Connor bothered (i.e. allergies)

Sweet Cora is 7 months old today . . .
One tooth as of this morning
Bottom right center
She is sitting very well alone and army crawling any and everywhere. Talking like a crazy woman. I have a video if I can crop it to post. Loves butternut squash and cheerios (even spinach). She loves all food.
