My First Tooth . . .

Well, Connor is finally showing a glimpse of his first tooth. I have been trying to capture it for at least a week. I caught him yesterday - see if you can see it - it is his lower left tooth {click on the picture to view a larger image}

Some more pictures of Connor playing this week at his Nina's house.

We are off to the Lake tomorrow for my friend Heather's wedding - It will be Connor's first trip to the Lake - the weather forecast is excellent - we are looking forward to relaxing and getting out on the boat, too. More pictures later this week.

Cruising Along . . .

Connor has started cruising along couches, chairs and tables. He LOVES pulling pillows off the couch and putting them on the floor to play with. He is a giggling boy these days. I hope to get a video of him soon. Connor and I are still in Alabama hanging out with family and friends - the weather is warm and sunny! So I am loving it - and so is Connor.
Check out the little devil smile in this pic!

Happy 8 Months Connor!

Caught Connor reading his new easter book to his new mr. lamb (both from Great Aunt Cathy). Happy 8 months, Connor! Connor is still getting over a stuffy nose but is otherwise happy and always on the move.

Going for a ride . . .

We are recovering from our first car ride down the east coast. Early Tuesday morning we left Baltimore to travel to Durham. We stayed overnight in Durham - our first hotel stay with Connor. He hasn't been sleeping that well (we think because of teething - but we have yet to see any teethies). I requested a crib. The crib looked like it was out of The Shining! Luckily I brought our own sheet for the crib - first, because the crib was scary enough - I can't imagine what the sheets would have looked like from the hotel - and second, I can't imagine what the sheets would have looked like because they didn't offer a sheet! So, anyway, Connor did OK for the first night. We then travelled to Atlanta. We had great weather and made good time. I was feeling a little under the weather - and seemed to have passed my stuffy nose onto little Connor. We had to take a rain check for some friends (and their babies) we planned to see because I was sick . . . but we did get to visit some big kids!

My friend Kelly's kids were out of town so Connor had full run of her house and toys. Connor looks so comfortable on the dumptruck . . . maybe he will follow his cousins and great uncle in construction. Connor with his aunt Kelly . . .
Later that day we arrived in Hotlanta and saw some of Colin's friends from college and my cousin Taylor.
Speaking of my cousins . . . I was the first grandchild on both sides of my family (so is Connor) and I was the only girl for 9 years. There are 5 boys inbetween and then finally another baby girl. My cousin Katherine got engaged last week! Congrats Katherine - can't wait to see you!

We finally arrived in Birmingham on Thursday. Connor got to see his great-grandmother again! He loves his Nina!

Moor to come on our trip . . . later this month!

More O's

A bonus O's photo: Connor and Kevin . . . celebrating Kevin's Birthday.

Also, Colin was named Outstanding Coach for the 5th - 8th grade teams at our church! As I mentioned before, Colin loved coaching the now 7th graders for the past 3 years. He is definitely going to miss coaching them next year! The team was like 1-15 before Colin started helping out. So you can imagine how excited the boys were when they made the playoffs! Connor is very proud of his daddy!

Opening Day . . .

This morning we got up early and went to Orioles Fan Fest with Connor's godfather, Kevin. After surviving the early wind gusts, we enjoyed the beautiful day! Connor got his picture taken with the Oriole Bird (it isn't the best picture but that is what happens when I relinquish custody of the camera to Colin). Connor also got his own floppy hat to keep his blond head out of the sun. Now the Orioles just need to win a few games.
