Check-Ups

Connor needed his 3 year old appt and Cora needed a 2 week check-up - I convinced my mom to accompany these 3 C's to the pediatrician this afternoon. Their pedi is my old pedi so we all love him. The only appt I could get for both on the same day was during naptime. . . Another reason I needed reinforcements!

Cora is up to 8 lbs 5 oz and is 21.5 inches (no percentiles given) & her cord finally fell off late last night! First real bath tonight! As we expected she disliked the real bath just as much as she disliked the sponge bath.



Connor is 34 lbs and 39 to 39.5 inches (hard to measure a busy boy) so roughly 60/90 percentiles respectively.

We are home and adjusting to life with our new little one. So far so good. Sweet Cora is 1 week old today and her big brother Connor will turn 3 this weekend!

Meet Cora Ellen

Cora Ellen arrived today, August 1, at 2:16 pm. She weighed 8 lbs 1 ounce and is 20 inches long.

So far all is going extremely well for all of us.

And our blonde big brother -thanks Iana for the sweet but subtle big brother shirt! Connor couldnt wait to wear it.


Connor seems happy with his little sister . . . He wants to call her "chickie" and is very interested in changing her hair to make it blonde too!
