The boys and their girls

Mike, Mary and Madelyn came to visit for Thanksgiving. We loved the company. Someone has more pics (Mary) but I dont have those yet. So, here are Mike and Maddie and Colin and Cora (and my 80's laundry basket)

Everyone really dressed up for the picture!

4 Months

Its December and Cora is 4 months old today. She weighs 12 lbs, 7 oz (40th percentile) and is 26 inches (60th percentile). She rolled over last month and hated it. After a few days she was always on her belly. Last week she started sleeping on her tummy, and this week she pushed up on her elbows (and is trying to get her knees up). She is "talking" all the time now and sticking out her tounge. She laughs often. She has been sleeping about 11 hours each night since 9 weeks old (yes, iv'e waited to share for fear of jinxing). Connor still adores Cora and loves waking her up in the morning (i know, can you believe we usually have to wake her up?)

She also discovered her feet -and loves them!

Connor says . . .

We were giving Cora a bath last week and Connor loves to help watch. He put his arms around Colin and me and said, "you are my best friends" sigh

Connor wanted to play a game on my iPad this weekend. I obliged and put it on airplane mode before handing it over (you know so he doesnt buy apps, airline tickets, etc). Unfortunately, he wanted to watch pbs shows which requires the internet. So, I reluctantly agreed to take it off airplane mode. Colin fixed it up and handed it over to a beaming child. So happy. little things. He climbed up in a big leather recliner, looked at me and said with a serious face "why did you do that [put it on airplane mode] to me?". hilarious!

Cora may start fussing a little, Connor runs over and says "I'm here, I'm here, don't worry Cora". Then she smiles. Every.Time.

To Catch a 'Dillo

Remember my beautiful yard Pictures?

Well it now looks like this . . . (not a good picture -lighting, leaves etc)

And this . . .

See all that dirt. Looks like a football team in cleats ran through our yard!! Destroyed by what we believe is an armadillo.

Who we also believe is in the cage (top left in front of white fence).

That is as close as I am getting. Hopefully the trap is empty tomorrow and we arent harboring an armadillo family.
