Connor is starting to really use his hands to grab objects (namely, my hair) but also shirts and strings. When Connor was born he was delivered to our hosptial room with his arms and hands out of the swaddle. He has been swinging his arms (fondly, left and right hooks) ever since. A few weeks ago he began noticing his fingers and moving his fingers as if he were counting on them (1, 2, 3 . . .). I suppose he determined he could really use those fingers to hold on tight - because whatever he grabs, he holds on for dear life.
He has also a huge fan of kicking his legs and feet. This has also been a trend since day one. He is very strong. Strong enough to kick my laptop off my lap on several occasions. We suspect he will enjoy several sports - again, just like his dad.
Today, we learned that "everyone" was reading Corduroy by Don Freeman. So, Connor and I decided to read it too. Miss Mary gave Connor the book as a gift. Thanks, Mary. As you can see, Connor was into the book.
